Description
Universities around the United States are working collaboratively with Higher Ed Holdings to deliver their high quality courses to increasing numbers of students, and at a more affordable cost. Participating students are assigned an Academic Coach (sometimes referred to by a different title for different programs) during their program of study.
Academic Coaches are highly qualified, experienced practitioners who most frequently serve as the liaison between the university faculty member and students. The exact qualifications and requirements of an Academic Coach are tailored according to individual university and program needs. Often the Academic Coach is the student's initial point of contact. Coaches monitor student engagement, facilitate course content, provide online student support, and regularly collaborate with university faculty. Academic Coaches serve as facilitators and graders; University faculty are the teachers of record.
Academic coach positions are all online and we work with individuals worldwide to assist faculty in delivery the courses and ensure student success. Positions ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week are available for qualified candidates to work from home as online instructional assistants or academic coaches. Some of the desired contents areas are Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Nursing - just to name a few. We also have other courses in other areas, such as: Mathematics, Statistics, Physical Sciences, History, Government, Literature, Composition, Information Technology and Foreign Languages.
Doctorate and/or terminal degree preferred.
Minimum of a Master's Degree + 18 graduate hours content area is required. Teaching and/or professional development experience is a plus.
For Academic Coaches in the Nursing programs, a current RN license and MSN is required.
