Description
Central Michigan University seeks qualified part-time temporary instructors to teach the following Geography courses:
Course: (Online)
GEO 340 Urban Geography
Course: (Michigan)
GEO 373 Latin America
Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Geography with graduate level coursework in the topic to be taught is preferred.
All CMU's online courses prefer online teaching experience or that the candidate be willing to take the online training provided by CMU’s Center for Instructional Design Department.
Local candidates are preferred for teaching assignments but qualified instructors outside local area may be considered. The University does not sponsor candidates or reimburse relocation expenses.
You will teach adult students in classes offered on alternating weekends or one night a week for eight weeks. A generous stipend is paid plus reasonable travel expenses incurred with the teaching of the course.
