Description
Central Michigan University seeks qualified part-time temporary Apparel Merchandising & Design instructors to teach the following course:
Course(Online):
AMD 252 Dress and Culture
Requirements:
• A Master’s degree with at least one degree in apparel design, fashion merchandising or textiles.
• Competence in subject matter as evidenced by relevant course work, continuing education, or professionally related work experience.
• Demonstrated competence in online environment; computer literate.
Desired Qualifications:
• Earned doctorate with at least one degree in apparel design, fashion merchandising, textiles or closely related discipline.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness.
The successful candidate will teach adult students in classes offered on alternating weekends or one night a week for eight weeks. A generous stipend is paid plus reasonable travel expenses incurred with the teaching of the course.
