Central Michigan University seeks qualified part-time temporary instructors to teach the following courses:
Courses: (Michigan, Atlanta Georgia, Richmond Virginia)
PES 550 Sport Fundraising
PES 603 Administration of Sport and Physical Education
PES 610 Philosophy of Physical Education and Sport
PES 625 Facilities for Sport and Physical Education
PES 640 Sports and the Law
PES 645 Financial Management of Sport
PES 650 Sport Marketing
PES 670 Research Methods for Physical Education and Sport, Health & Recreation
PES 672 Statistics for Physical Education and Sport, Health & Recreation
Requirements:
Terminal degree in Sport Management/Sport Administration or one of the program course subject areas and higher education teaching experience preferred. Will consider a Master’s degree in an area relevant to the course, if combined with experience working in the sport industry (e.g., an MBA with experience managing a sport facility) and teaching experience in higher education.
The successful candidate will teach adult students in classes offered on alternating weekends for three weekends or in a hybrid format. A generous stipend is paid plus reasonable travel expenses incurred with the teaching of the course.
The University does not cover sponsorships to the United States and/or relocation expenses for temporary/part-time instructors.
