Central Michigan University seeks qualified part-time temporary instructors to teach the following Religion courses:

REL 313 Christianity
Requirements:
Completion of all Ph.D. course work and comprehensive exams. Doctoral course work and research should be in the larger context of either the study of the “history of religions” or the “academic study of religion”. The candidate specialization or secondary emphasis in the doctoral work must be in the area of the course.
Local candidates are preferred for teaching assignments at the Centers. The University does not sponsor candidates or reimburse relocation expenses for part-time contracted opportunities.
The successful candidate will teach adult students in classes offered on alternating weekends or one night a week for eight weeks. A generous stipend is paid plus reasonable travel expenses incurred with the teaching of the course.
